Diane Chubb
Diane M. Chubb, Esq. (Partner) specializes in intellectual property law, primarily in trademark and copyright law. Ms. Chubb has a broad range of experience in these fields, from trademark selection, clearance, acquisition and protection, copyright registration and licensing, domain name protection, protection of marketing materials, trade secrets and other confidential information, as well as merchandising, litigation and corporate issues.
Ms. Chubb graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in political science. She attended Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, NH where she obtained her law degree with a specialization in intellectual property law.
Ms. Chubb worked as legal counsel for Fox, Inc., the parent company to all of the Fox Studios entities worldwide. She was responsible for the protection of over 8000 trademarks internationally.
Her job involved protecting some Fox’s most valuable properties, such as “The Simpsons” and “The X-Files,” from infringement and counterfeiting worldwide. She was also involved in ground-breaking litigation regarding the use of photographs to create unlicensed merchandise. Ms. Chubb later moved to the law firm of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro, LLP in Los Angeles, and upon relocation to New England, she started her own law firm and co-founded a unique design agency that featured trademark protection for all brands developed by the firm.
